Purple Life Saver

So today i was eating some lifesavers, 5 flavors cherry, lemon, lime, orange and pineapple. About half way in i pulled out a PURPLE lifesaver. At first i thought it might be an off red color but after intently staring at it for a few minutes i came to the conclusion that my first impression of this lifesaver was right, it was indeed purple. It tasted remotely sour and seemed more flavorful then the rest of the other colors.
   I immediately went to Google to see if other people found a random purple lifesaver in they're own pack of lifesavers, but was slightly disappointed that i could not find anyone posting about such a thing. My second thought was this must be a rare or once in a lifetime occurrence, or on the other hand no one found the need to note such a happening. I did find out that they indeed had a chain of purple life savers, i tried to find more info but soon became very bored. So instead i took the purple lifesaver out of my mouth, half gone and neatly folded it into a gum wrapper. I told myself  that this was a very, very cool and rare happening and that i should save it, maybe even frame it! Half of me still wanted to finish eating it, but i held back with all my willpower...
   My third thought was i must tell the world about this! It would only be selfish of me not to share this with everyone, this wondrous phenomenon! So i started this blog, and i am hoping to share more amazing stories and welcome you to my first blog post.
